Peaches is very excited about making his first trip out to see the many different children in all the daycares across the country. He's going to have so much fun in his travels! I'm sure everyone will take especially good care of him, he may get a little home sick. Make sure he gets plenty of love and hugs!!

The kids were eagerly awaiting the arrival of Peaches. Unfortunately, our mail usually doesn’t arrive until 4:50 pm . However, at 3 pm , on our way to the bus stop, the mailman was there! She confirmed that Peaches had arrived and was waiting to be let out of his box!

The kids wanted to open him, right then and there, but we agreed to wait for the school kids to get home. So, as soon as we got home, Peaches was let out of his box and ready and raring to eat his snack!

We all loved his personal belongings and the great gifts that his Mom sent us. We all played together and got to know each other. One dcb fell in love with Peaches so quickly that he didn’t want to let him go! But in the long run he knew that Peaches need to settle in and relax a bit.

The kids continued to get to know Peaches. Since there are a couple of children learning to be potty-trained, Peaches showed them how to do the task. The kids were all so excited that everyone can do this fun task! All kids (after handwashing, LOL) were able to bond with Peaches. He has shown us all of his belongings that he has taken on his trip. We got to play with the things and show him some of our toys. The kids showed him where we play store, set up our camp and dance. Fun was had by all.

Wednesday, September 12, 2007

The kids are all doing well with the potty training and are now using Peaches as their “reward.” Peaches is so proud of all the kids on using their manners and showing him around. He came to the bus stop to help pick up the older kids and was great by even more friends! They were all excited to meet the new visitor.

Thursday, September 13, 2007

We called Peaches Mommy and gave her an update on all of Peaches activities. We all were so happy to have been able to talk with Ms. Colleen. We had a tea party and the guest of honor was Peaches. Peaches also showed us some of his dance moves to Hannah Montana songs. All the kids were off of school today, so Peaches decided it was a good day to give us some gifts. He gave us playdoh, finger puppets, flash cards, and a learning clock. We also had some Teddy Grams for snacks. He was so generous to us all!

Friday, September 14, 2007

We spent a lot of time at the park today. Peaches helped us swing and use the slide. We got to hike through some wonderful woods and went to the “shady” park. We felt that Peaches would be more comfortable in the woods. We were right. He showed us some new flowers and trees. We had a lot of fun. Since Peaches would be leaving soon, we got the box ready to be packed up and all said good bye to Peaches and we will look forward to hearing about his continued travels.

Sunday, September 16, 2007

It was the weekend, so Peaches got to spend time with just our family. We watched a child’s soccer game and went bowling. We also went out to dinner. But mostly just rested from a fun filled week. We gave Peaches our last goodbyes.

Peaches arrived during nap time so of course I had to wait until everyone was up. So we all ate snack and then opened Peaches, we tried to wait until my oldest got home from school, but you all know how slow nine minutes can be. The kids were acting so silly when I told them the bears name is Peaches..... Peaches??!!! Peaches???!!! hehehe... They all loved his named and insisted that Peaches was Sally bears friend. After we went though the box (thank you for the gifts) we decided to show Peaches all the fun stuff outside. Peaches enjoyed jumping on the trampoline, sliding, and cruising around with Hailey on the trike. Hailey really didn't want to share Peaches at all so after asking ten times she decided to share him. But once Peaches was put down she was right there grabbing him again. Hailey has a new best friend!

Friday, October 5, 2007

The first children arrive at 5:30 am and Peaches and Hailey we still sound asleep. Finally around 7:30 am Peaches and Hailey decided it's time to get up and eat some breakfast. Peaches and Hailey were disappointed because it was raining and they couldn't go outside to play. We started Preschool time shortly after breakfast, Peaches sure did know everything about fire safety, Colleen must have done a very good job teaching Peaches how to stay safe. Hailey of course feed Peaches a bottle and gave him some cereal. We are having a great time playing with Peaches.

PIZZA PARTY!! Today was a very busy fun filled day. First in the morning we went to Hailey's dance studio to watch her practice for her big dance recital that will take place in December. Peaches thought it was a great time, and he hopes that he can come back in December to watch the recital. When we returned home, we all ate some McDonalds for lunch and Peaches was so excited to have a double cheese burger, fries and a chocolate milk! Peaches gave us many thanks for the treat of McDonalds. So after we finished our lunch we started to fill up balloons with helium and right away peaches wanted to hold the balloons! But because he is so light he started to float around the house! He had a BLAST! The kids all arrived at 4pm for the PARTY we ate pizza, some movies ate 6 bags of popcorn! Mrs. April couldn't pop it fast enough!! Peaches and the kids especially LOVED the ROOTBEER FLOATS! The party soon came to an end and everyone went home.

Sunday, October 7, 2007

Today is a much needed rest day! We are all going to take a nice long relaxing break!

Monday, October 8, 2007

Today is another rainy and cold day in Minnesota! yuck! We stayed inside and played games, did our preschool, read books, and our favorite time of the day is naptime. Okay maybe it's not for the kids and Peaches......But it can be for April it gives her time to catch up. Well by the end of the day the rain finally stopped and we went to a football game! Yay it was a little chilly but loads of fun!

Tuesday, October 9, 2007

We had another cold day, but today was super WINDY we thought Peaches would blow away if we went outside! So we decided to learn more about nutrition and staying healthy. Peaches shared with everyone all of his favorite healthy foods, and also showed us how to wash our hands really good so all the germs would get off.

Wednesday, October 10, 2007

We went on an leaf hunt today and looked at all the beautiful trees! The leafs are changing colors from orange, red, to brown, and yellow. We found lots of acorns too. The squirrels gather all the acorns they can before winter time, so they will have plenty to eat during the cold and frozen days. Everyone is getting so excited about Halloween this year, but Peaches is unsure what he wants to be for Halloween. Maybe we can all help him to decide before Halloween gets here. The kids in our group this year want to dress up as PowerRangers (girl) PowerRangers (boy) Princess, Snow white, and Teen Age Mutant Ninja Turtle.

Thursday, October 11, 2007

We all know our time with Peaches is soon coming to and end and we have gotten to become very close friends. We are taking very good care of Peaches and making sure that he is staying healthy by eating all the right foods and making sure to do really good handwashing before lunches and snacks. After using the bathroom too. One of our favorite toys that Peaches brought with him was the soft a cushy football. Peaches used it as a pillow during sleep time to remind him of home, he really misses everyone at home. But he is having lots of fun and making new friends.

Friday, October 12, 2007

Today was a very sad day because everyone had to say good by to Peaches. The kids are going to miss him very much. We all want to thank Kids Korner Childcare for sharing Peaches with our daycare. Peaches odyssey will continue onto Nanny's House Daycare in Arizona. Finally Peaches will get some warmer days ahead!!

Saturday, October 13, 2007

Peaches is all packed up and ready to go! He is very excited to meet some more new friends! Enjoy Peaches!! BYE BYE PEACHES!! Come back and visit us anytime!

Peaches is here!!! He came in during nap time so we will have to wait till the kids get up to open him up. I am sure he will be ready to get out and stretch his little legs. Well, the kids are awake now and all excited to meet Peaches. We opened the box and each one took turns giving him a welcome hug. As we went through the box we talked about how far Peaches had travel to come visit us. Thanks Ms April for the goodies! J

Tuesday, October 16, 2007

Peaches wanted to help Ms. Dianna welcome to children in this morning, so Ms. Dianna let him hold the door while the parents came in and then gave each child a big bear hug. Ms. Judy is the toddler teacher and she let him help her sing the welcome song and let him hold the flag when they said the Pledge of Allegiance. We had a great day and Peaches was very tired at the end of the day.

Wednesday, October 17, 2007

Today Ms. Dianna gave Peaches a map so he could show the children where he lives and where he has visited. Peaches said he was a little scared at first when he left his mommy and the kids at his home but after he got to Ms. Kelley’s he started feeling better and had lots of fun. He said he was excited about getting to go all the way across the United States, although traveling still makes him a little nervous.

Friday, October 19, 2007

Well today is the last day for Peaches to spend with the kids and everyone is sad to see him leave. The kids have really missed Benjamin, but having Peaches here has helped a lot. We have had a great time visiting with him and have learned a lot about New York . Peaches favorite book is Moon cake so we had moon cakes for snack. Everyone loved them. After snack everyone helped get Peaches’ things together and put them in the box. We all gave Peaches a great big hug and to tell everyone at Ms. Angelina’s hi. Peaches said to tell Ms. Angelina that he will be on his way soon and he is going to snuggle in his box and take a long nap till he gets there. Bye Peaches we love you!!!!!!!!

One of my dcg is so funny, I introduced peaches to her and she said" No that's not peaches that's a bear." LOL Peaches helped the children with making there pumpkins and before nap time peaches helped read a story from one of the books be brought and ended up taking a nap with the kids. The children enjoyed their gift, they couldn't wait till snack time.
