London is here and was so excited. He is playing with the kids and even a couple other teddy bears. Right now he is sitting in the musical chair and reading to a cheerleader bear. LOL. Oh and thanks for the teddy grahams the kids will love this for a snack. We are supposed to be going on a field trip Thursday if the weather stays nice. If this is the case then we will take those with us.

London’s First Day and Night went well. He got lots of attention yesterday and the kids LOVE him. He got to eat some of the Yummy Teddy Grahams that Pamm sent with him. He found his way into David Alex’s room last night to sleep with Alex. When I got up I tried to get a picture of him but Alex woke up so no picture of the two sleeping together.
Today London has had fun meeting 2 new children that wasn’t here when he arrived yesterday. He is also having fun playing dress up, the kitchen and the blocks. We will be reading Brown Bear Brown bear today so London will fit right in with that and can act out the book for the kids.

London Talks. We discovered that today. One of the kids was sleeping with him today and rolled over and scared the *&^% out of him when London talked to him. LOL That is just way way to cute. Ok now I feel like a ditz since I didn’t notice it sooner.
London talks? No way....we had him last May and never heard him talk. You are not alone obviously. Wow can't wait to get him again.
Jenny - Ohio
Yes his right foot. He says:
Will you play with me?
What's your name?
I love you.
Lets be friends.
Please take me home.
Please Pick me up.
Oh my gosh! We had him last time around and I did not know he talked! lol

London went shopping Sunday and Monday and picked out some cute teddy bear hats to wear since there is still a chill in the air. London also got a new blanket to go with his other one. Baby N had grown very attached to him and wanted to sleep with him every time he was here. London enjoyed having the teddy bear tea party as well they had lots of fun telling London about their own teddies on Friday.

Welcome London! London snuck in the house while the kids were in school. London sat patiently waiting. Ashlee noticed the box and ran and got the rest of the kids. Ashlee, Cara, Markia, Cristian, & Saphire were very excited! London met everyone and was treated to a parachute ride, courtesy of the kids. London got dressed up in dance clothes and joined Ashlee & Cara for dance class with Ms Lynn. A tired bear, London slept with Brian tonight.
Friday, March 3, 2006
Today London met the rest of the crew: Spencer, Elyse, & Amanda. We had a wonderful school day learning about the 4 seasons. We wrote the letter "S" in brown rice (the same color as London) and learned about our new month, March, the number 6, and the colors gold & yellow. London napped with Saphire today and slept with Ashlee during the night.
Saturday, March 4, 2006
WooHoo, it's the weekend! London came with Ms Dawn & Ashlee for haircuts. The rest of the day London, Ashlee, & Brian were very lazy. It felt great after all that traveling.
Sunday, March 5, 2006
Ahhh, another lazy day! London slept in while Ms Dawn, Coach Ed, Kaylyn, Brian, & Ashlee went to church. After that, London enjoyed helping the kids make cards for Grandpa Dennis (Ms Dawn's daddy). He is 59 today. Can you believe it snowed ALL day today? What crazy Chicagoland weather!
Monday, March 6, 2006
NO SCHOOL! Today is Casimir Pulaski Day and Ms Dawn has only 1 daycare family today. Markia brought her brother Josh & Joel with her for half the day. We all went bowling and did really good, especially Ms Dawn bowling without her boot cast. Kaylyn stayed home to make a big mess of moving around her bedroom furniture without permission. It was pretty messy when we got home. It was a fun, easy day, and Ms Dawn even let us play X-Box. Today the snow melted.
Tuesday, March 7, 2006
Ms Dawn's child care is back to normal today. Ashlee, Cristian, Markia, Kaylyn, & Brian had school. :( I missed them. Today was just a play day. Ms Dawn only teaches on Mon (when the kids are here), Wed, & Fri's. It was very nice out today, so Ms Dawn let us play outside in the melting snow. Yuck, it was messy. Ashlee's tights weren't white anymore. At night it was raining ice balls. How weird! I'm sleeping with Ashlee tonight and getting a good rest. Tomorrow I'm going to morning kindergarten.
Wednesday, March 8, 2006
Today I am going to school with Ashlee. That was fun! Ashlee had a great class. We did calendars, centers, & math pages together. I was a very good bear and Mrs. Vrba and Ashlee's friends are very nice. After school, we did a project. We made a flower pot.
Thursday, March 9, 2006
Today I went to Miss Johnson's kindergarten class with Cristian. I had lots of fun here, too. We also did calendars & centers. We took Oliver the dog to the vet this afternoon. Ollie is very sick. He is going to stay here a while until the other doggie doctor comes in.
Friday, March 10, 2006
I met Christopher today, Amanda's brother. His school is closed today. He is 6. I did a sun puppet craft today and said goodbye to everyone. I can't wait to meet everyone in Arkansas! Ms Dawn is going to pack me up, but I can peek at Brian's new hair later. He's gett ing his head shaved for charity.
Oh no, Brian fell on his way home from the bus. He's hurt pretty bad and has to go the hospital. I gave hime a good luck kiss. Off to Nanny's House I go! I will enjoy the map Ms Dawn made for me about my travels. Ashlee & Cristian took it to school with them to show their class about my journey.

London arrived safe and sound, although very tired from his trip. We
were both suprised that he arrived so quickly, yesterday at 3:00. I
opened his box to visit with him for a while and to go through all the
goodies Ms. Dawn sent to us. London said he would like to freshen up a
little and get a good nights rest before he met the children, so I gave
him a fresh change of clothes and we had a snack. Abby played with him
for a while then he went down for the night. London woke up well rested
and ready for the day. We agreed to gether that it would be fun for
London to go back in the box so the kids could open him up together.
At circle time Ms. Sarah said. " Boys and girls we have a box that came
in the mail for us." All the kids yelled at once! "It's the bear! He's
here!" They were so excited. Ms. Dawn, thank you so much for all the nice goodies you sent to us. We loved them all!
Thursday, March 16, 2006
We are so excited!! We have all been invited to a Teddy Bear Tea Party in honor of London. Thats me!!! YAY!! all of our teddies from the children's home are coming dressed in their best attire. We had tea and special cookies that Ms. Dianna brought. Yum Yum!

Last week Ms Dianna's son cut down a tree and there was a nest of three baby squirrels. He bought them to us to take care of untill they were big enough to be set free. I got to help her feed and oh they are so cute! I love them.

Well today is my last full day with the kids at Nanny's House. The kids said they were going to be sad when I leave and I will be a little to but I am excited at the same time cuz I get to go on another trip. I think this one will be a little longer cuz I am going to Ms. Susan's in Washington. Ms. Dianna and Ms Sarah showed us where Washington was on the map. Man that really looks like it will take a long time but ms. Dianna said that I would be there before I knew it.
Thursday, March 23, 2006
Well today is the big day. Ms. Joleen, thats the lady at Nanny's House that makes our lunch, asked me what my favorite thing is to eat. I told her I liked pizza a bunch. Guess what she fixed me for lunch? Yep PIZZA!!!!!!! She said she wanted to send me out with a full tummy. :-) Well lunch is over, boy am I full! All the kids are getting ready for nap. I give everyone a big bear hug and settle down in my box for a long nap. Night night everyone. All the kids say "Bye London We love you!!"

He is here!!!!! I got him this afternoon, that was fast!!! Thank you so much Diane for the gifts, the kids will love them. My daughter is enjoying the privilege of playing with London because it's Saturday and of course there is noone else here to have to share with. Come Monday it might be a little difficult to have to share. I am going to try and surprise the kids on Monday. (if my dd can keep it a secret) This is such a fun thing to do, thank you Jana for doing this program and for choosing my daycare to be one of the recipients! So for the weekend London is getting dressed and undressed and i am sure he will be sleeping with my dd Emily.

Thursday, April 6, 2006
The kids were so excited to open London on Tuesday morning. Right
away we listened to his sweet little voice. He got to join the kids
for circle time and we looked through all the stuff that game with
him. Thank you so much Susan for all the wonderful treats. Everyone
enjoyed them. The kids played with London and were so excited to see
him in our shirt we made last year.
London was excited to meet the new kids. Miss Jenny started doing
preschool in September and this February her neighbor who watches
kids too and is also named Jenny started coming over for preschool
in the morning. So for a couple hours three days a week London has
lots of playmates. He went home with Katie and Kiley who are sisters
the first night and it was alot of fun. Katie gave London a race car
to take with him.
All the kids are already hoping London never leaves. London went home with Alex and Colton tonight. Tomorrow Colton has to have oral surgery and London wanted to be with him for moral support. We are expecting beautiful weather next week and have planned a teddy bear picnic prior to London's departure.
Monday, April 10, 2006
We have all been having so much fun with London. Thursday London spent
the night with Kaihlyn where he met 7 baby kittens that were only 4
weeks old. They were so cute!
Friday brought a trip to the Library and Grocery Store with Miss
Jenny, Greg, Jill and Anna. London was shocked to see all the food
Miss Jenny buys. And the milk too. On Saturday London had a big day.
He got to go shopping with Miss Jenny, Anna and Gregory to his
favorite place....Build-a-bear. He got a new Cleveland Indians outfit
too along with a baseball bat, glove and ball.
Saturday and Sunday were spent with Madison and Anna at their homes
and this morning London arrived back at Miss Jenny's ready to start
Thursday, April 20, 2006
London was very happy to be home. There were a lot of changes since he was last home. First of all, a lot of furniture was moved around and seemed more organized. Also, we now have cable and get to watch Dora and Sponge Bob right on TV without a video! London was sad to hear Bear has gone to Doggie Heaven; and happy to meet Chase, the new doggie.
Everyone was so excited to explore London's box! Thanks to Jenny's Childcare again for the nice treats, flashcards, car, and Easter Basket. All the babies at Pamm's House tried on all of London's clothes and bibs. What fun we had.
Everyone has now left daycare and London went to bed early tonight, tired from all his travels.
