When my first little guy got her this morning the first thing is did was see if Lilly was up. He sat and held her all morning. She's such a beautiful bear, we love having her here. Have a good weekend.

Lilly arrived today on my 1st day off in months! My children had a wonderful time with her ALONE!! They posed for many pictures, called all their friends, and (much to my dismay !LOL!) invited the neighborhood children over to greet Lilly! I am wondering who will enjoy her more the little ones (1-5) or the big ones (7,11,12,14)? Here are some pictures the kiddos posed Lilly for and took themselves. The puppy is Brianna's new friend Sara. Sara and Lilly became fast friends, playing peekaboo, riding the happy rocking eggplant together, and cuddling!

Well Lilly has been very busy and she is about to get even busier! She has been playing everyday until she drops right with the children. She even was the guest of honor at our Teddy Bear picnic PJ party! This weekend (Wed-Sat) Lilly will be joining me at the MIAEYC conference! She is pretty excited and was a little nervous but both my sister and I are going so she won't be alone!

Lilly got here during nap time on Wednesday. It just happened to be a 1/2 day for the school kids so they were the first to get to meet Lilly. They LOVED her. We have taken lots of pictures already and I have a friend coming over Friday to show me how to send them to you all. Once I figure it out you all will be so sick of seeing pictures of my place. The digital camera was a gift to me when we got selected to be apart of TBE! Anyway, Thank you Kristy's for all the goodies the kids ate them up. They all were scared for Lilly when we got her out of the box. She had on her mittens, scarf, hat, and was wrapped in her blankey! It was 86 degrees that afternoon, they thought she was going to get heat stroke! Must have been cold in your neck of the woods. My parents are just LOVING this experience. Thank you so much to all of you at PP that make this happen! Today we showed Lilly the chicken and duck eggs that we are trying to hatch, she thought that was very neat. Shes having a
great time showing us all the friends she has made during her travels. I think she really likes her photo album she was showing EVERYONE! Well I've
gotten a little windy so I'll talk to you all tomorrow and hopefully figure out the camera thing to share her adventure with you all. NIGHT!

Lilly made it safely to Virginia. Riley and Griffin took Lilly home for the night, they took her to our favorite store, Safeway. Lilly was carried through the store in a basket. She was shown the different veggies and fruits. Lilly was also shown Riley's favorite thing in the store - which is the Lobster tank!! Lilly was nervous, but enjoyed looking at the lobsters. Lilly behaved very nicely in the store.

Lilly hung out at CeCe's house today, she drove in the van to take Riley to pre-school (she sat in her own car seat). Lilly went home with Kristina and Ryan. Ryan is in the hospital, so Lilly will be spending some time with him there.

Lily arrived 5/12. How quaint, Provider Appreciation Day. We read several of bear books with Lily. The first picture is one of my dcg Lily and of course my 2yo grandson who loves to cuddle holding him. My oldest granddaughter sat him next to one our other special bears for companionship. Aren't they sweet. Haven't really made any plans for Mother's Day yet but Monday will be a full house again. We will dig futher in the box and see what else CeCe and the rest have collected for us to fun with.

Lily spent Mother's Day going to Sunday School, then out to lunch and planted all kinds of flowers in the afternoon. She will have to retire early this eve to be ready for all the children arriving tomorrow morn. If it stays sunny we will have to purchase some sunglasses for her also.

My dcg Lily would not leave the teddy Lilly alone. I think this shows she finally got the best of her and the teddy Lilly was a soft resting place.

Readying to leave. A few sad faces. No crocodile tears though. Sun has been shining here so we needed to out fit Lilly with some special sunglasses. Just her size. The kiddos really did have a good time with her. They just asked this morning how will she get to Sheron and her crew. Again explanation of how the mail works across the USA.

Lilly returned home to Nana's Nest Family Daycare in Hanover, Pa. on
Tuesday, May 23rd after weeks of traveling back and forth across the US. All the children at the daycare were so happy to see her and she was very happy to
see them. Lilly says that there is some truth to the phrase "There is no
place like home"! Nana and the children at her daycare would like to thank everone that she visited for being so kind to Lilly. She has been sharing many exciting tales of her travels. Thank you also for all of the wonderful gifts that everyone sent back with Lilly and especially Miss Lavonne and her daycare kids for all the neat things that she sent to us. Lilly has returned to her favorite spot in the playroom and is already thinking about the possibility of another trip in the fall.
