I think the children are starting to realize that Beary is leaving on Saturday. My son Alec is trying to get me to send a different bear instead. I think this is going to be very hard on Saturday. The children are taking him everywhere and having him do everything. I just made sure he was cleaned up and ready to go, but the little ones keep dragging him around. I'm sure he will get a lot of that on his journey too!
He has gone to the bus stop and for a walk everyday. He went with us to Wal-Mart last night to get his box and a few other things. I think he is getting a little nervous though, we packed the box already and tried to get him in there. But he wasn't havin' it! So we'll see how things go tomorrow and Saturday. I'll keep you updated though.

We took Beary Long Legs to the Post Office this morning. Everyone was pretty excited. Alec wanted to go with Beary, but I had to tell him he weighed too much and I didn't have enough money. He finally got out of the box and we decided to send a surprise for everyone instead. So you will have to wait and see! We can't wait to hear how he's doing! Here he comes Hillcrest Daycare!!

Hi all,
We received Beary Long Legs yesterday, and had fun going through the box with all the goodies sent from Ms. Heather. Thank you so much for all the gifts. We are having fun with him and his buddy Sgt. Rockwell.

What a surprise and on a very chilly, cloudy day. The mailman rang our doorbell around snack time and there he was heavy box and all . We have a small group today, but were soooo excited! I will send a few pictures on to Jana later today.
Thank You Lori for the great stuff! We can't wait to read the stories to Beary and share with him some of our favorites!!!

He has been having quite a good time with all the kids. He has colored and played outside. He even went to watch football practice and a volleyball game. He will be heading out this weekend. We have LOVED having Beary with us, Thank You so much Heather for sharing him with us.

Beary Long legs arrived today - we were very excited to have him. When we woke up from our naps, we got him outof the box, looked at all of the pictures and where he has been. We then went to the map, and saw the different states.

We hung out in the play room today. It was raining outside, so we were not able to go to the playground like we planned. We read books, bounced on the little trampoline, watched some TV also.
Weekend - Beary Long legs spent the weekend with Riley and Griffin. We went to see their dad run a 10 mile race, he did a great job. He colored with Riley, he had to sleep downstairs by himself! How rude!!! Played with some of Riley and Griffins toys.

Today Beary Long legs went to pre-school with Riley as show and tell. Riley did a great job of telling the kids in her class where I came from and what I have been doing. I spent the night at Kristina's house and played with Ryan (who is now in kindergarten and no longer goes to CeCe's house) and Katelin - she is a 2nd grader!! I was impressed. Kristina forgot me at her house this morning, so I am stuck there with a cat all day. CeCe is going to take me to Noah's this evening.

Beary has made it! we were having a b-day party for one of my dcg and the mailman brought the box. everyone was so excited! thank you cece for the treats!

Beary arrived late yesterday just as the children were leaving for home. That was a good thing because Beary had traveled a very long way from Washington and just wanted to rest. This morning he was well rested and eager to jump out of his box and meet the kids.
